What is Thanksgiving Coffee? Thanksgiving is a time, to not only reflect on God’s blessings, but it’s also a time to celebrate those good blessings with family and friends over food. Alisha and I are Foodies. We like food. We like good food. And we’re willing to take the time and money to make really good food.
I’ve often said that it takes a business its first year to just figure out what your real product is and who your customers are. And sure enough, it took a year for Alisha and I to figure that out. You already know that our product is super fresh whole bean coffee. What you may not know is that all of you share something in common. What you share is that you’re all… drum roll please… Foodies.
You all know that we don’t have any special coffee for the holidays. We roast and ship the same super fresh whole bean coffee every week. Why, because you don’t need a holiday as an excuse to serve really good coffee 365 days a year.
Thanksgiving Coffee Recipes
Fire In The Hole – If you want to make a coffee drink that’s just a bit more festive for the holidays, then brew up your normal favorite Lake City Coffee roast, and put one small dollop of whip cream on top and add a cinnamon stick. There’s it’s now festive.
Irish Hoochy Smoochy – If you really have to go holiday crazy on the coffee, then if it were me, I’d add a small tad bit of Bailey’s Irish Cream. I know that sounds a bit crazy, but hey that’s just me.
Mexican Hot Foot – I have a friend that makes the most awesome Mexican food you ever had, even for Thanksgiving. Here’s her Mexican Coffee recipe. Lake City Coffee Delectable Dark roast brewed coffee, tequila, Kahlua, cinnamon, and cloves.
As a side note, if you’re going to add alcohol to your coffee, cool it down first. Otherwise, the alcohol is going to evaporate out within seconds.
